What this page is
A dashboard tile that shows chat from Twitch, YouTube and Kick in one feed and lets you answer without leaving the app. It is the tile that used to be called Multichat — same tile, new name. Every line carries the platform logo, the viewer's badges and their emotes, and moderators get time-out, ban and delete right on the line.
How to set it up
- The tile fills itself once a platform is connected — nothing to switch on. Until then it shows sample lines with a note in the header so they cannot be mistaken for real ones.
- To answer, type into Message at the bottom and press Send. Above the box there is a tick per connected platform: tick the ones you want. With nothing ticked the message goes to every chat — the hint under the box says so.
- Press the gear in the header to open the settings, and press it again to close them. Done at the bottom closes them too.
- Show the reply box hides the whole sending area if you answer from elsewhere.
- Send as picks who speaks — Myself or The bot. The bot option is greyed out when no bot account is connected on the platforms you are writing to.
- Moderation buttons show the three buttons on every viewer line. Time out for sets their length: 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. The button itself shows the number, so you always see what you are about to hand out.
- Show chat from ticks the platforms whose messages appear in the feed. This is about reading, not sending — the ticks above the message box are separate.
- Hide chat commands drops lines that start with an exclamation mark. Useful when viewers use a lot of commands and the feed scrolls past you.
- Platform logos, User badges and Emotes as pictures turn those three decorations on and off, one by one.
Moderating from the line
Three buttons sit at the top right of a viewer's line:
- the number with m — a time-out of that many minutes;
- ban — asks once more, showing sure?, and only the second press bans. A ban is hard to take back, and there is no system confirmation window in a tile;
- ✕ — deletes that one message.
After a ban or a time-out the tile writes a line into the feed with an undo next to it. It stays in the scrollback, so you can change your mind five minutes later — a popup would have been gone by then. A refusal from the platform appears in red, with the reason and no undo: there is nothing to take back.
What it cannot do
- Moderation exists for Twitch and YouTube only. Kick lines carry no buttons.
- A time-out on YouTube cannot be undone — there is no undo next to it. YouTube refuses to lift a temporary mute; it simply expires on its own. A YouTube ban does have the undo, and it works.
- You cannot moderate your own messages: the buttons are not drawn on your own lines.
- The feed starts when the tile opens. There is no history of what was said before, and no search over it. Old lines are dropped once the feed grows past a few hundred.
- Nothing here connects an account. Platforms are connected on their own pages, and the tile only shows what is already connected.
- The bot cannot be chosen per platform: Send as applies to the whole message.
