Auction tiles on the Control Panel

Installed separately, as part of the Auction bundle: this module does not come with the app installer. Open Module Catalog → Add-ons and press Install on the Auction card, and the bundle installs all of its modules at once.

What this page is

The set brings tiles that run the auction from the Control Panel without opening the Auction page. Add them with Edit → Add module. Besides the two described below, Auction: Lots adds, edits, merges and reorders lots right on the panel, Auction: Wheel has an eye button that hides the wheel from the stream until the next spin, and Auction: Bracket frames the tournament bracket for OBS: Autofocus follows the current match, or you drag and zoom it by hand.

The bracket in OBS repeats the framing from Auction: Bracket while Follow the current match is on for that bracket on Auction → Bracket overlay; with it off, the source shows the whole tree and ignores the tile. Before strAImer 0.25.0 the framing from the tile did not reach OBS at all, and the source followed the current match on its own whatever the tile showed.

To take one wheel or one bracket off the stream for longer, use the On air switch in its row on Auction → Wheel overlay or Auction → Bracket overlay. These tiles do not follow that switch: they stay your view for running the draw. The guides "Auction wheel" and "Bracket overlay" explain the difference.

Auction: Control

  1. The header shows the auction name, the state (Bids open, Bids stopped or Draw in progress) and the power button, Turn off / Turn on. Switched off, the tile reads "Module is off: nothing is accepted and the OBS overlays are dark".
  2. Under the clock stand Collected with your currency, Bids and Pending.
  3. Start and Stop are one button. −1 min and +1 min are hidden while the timer is off.
  4. Pick Normal, Elimination or Tournament. The main button reads Spin, then Spin next inside a series, and Next match between tournament matches. Start over next to it puts the draw back to the beginning.
  5. Spin time works as on Auction → Wheel: a number of seconds, or Random with from and to.
  6. Templates: open Pick a template and press Apply. The first press turns the button into Sure?, the second one within four seconds applies; while bids are open the button is greyed out. To save the current lots, type a Template name and press Save; with the name left empty the template takes the auction's name.
  7. The switches Timer, Split sectors, Channel points and Accept anything are the same settings as on the page and apply at once.
  8. Clear bids and Save to history are not on the tile on purpose: they wipe or close the round, and live only on Auction → Auction.

Auction: Disputed bids

  1. The tile lists the Pending queue, newest first, under "Pending: {n}". Each card shows the viewer, the amount ("?" when the exchange rate is not set) and the message.
  2. Pick a lot opens the list of lots, and the button beside it then reads Assign. With no lot picked the same button reads New lot: "Creates a lot named after the bid text". Reject turns one bid down.
  3. Clear in the header rejects the whole queue. The first press shows "Sure? {n}" with the number of bids, the second within three seconds clears it. Points are refunded the same way as when you reject bids one by one, and there is no undo.
  4. Below, "Accepted: {n}" lists the bids that already went into lots, thirty at a time with Show more. Picking another lot on such a card moves the bid at once. Void stops it counting and Restore brings it back; Delete asks Sure? on the same button first.
  5. With nothing waiting and nothing accepted the tile reads "Nothing to sort out — every bid is assigned".
