What this page is
Auction board prepares the OBS overlay that shows the auction: its name, the timer, the description and the leaderboard of lots. The page is a link builder and an appearance editor at once — the preview in the middle is the same board that goes into OBS.
How to set it up
- The hint under the title says what the source needs: "Add this URL as an OBS Browser Source. Recommended size: 900 × 900. The preview below is smaller (420 × 540), so text will look smaller in OBS than it does here."
- In Link parameters on the left choose Layout — Full or Compact — and Rows on screen, a number from 1 to 20 (8 by default).
- The address in the field under the preview changes with those two settings. Press Copy link in the header and paste it into the Browser Source.
- The Styling card above the section list keeps ready-made looks and your own. Open the list, "-- Choose a template --", and take one from Built-in — As before, Bold, Quiet — or from Mine — this overlay and Mine — from other overlays. The line under the list says what pressing Apply will do.
- To keep the current look, type a name into Template name in the same card and press Save. Delete removes a saved template of your own; the confirmation adds "The current styling is not affected." Picking one of your own templates puts its name back into the field and Save reads Update: saving then overwrites that template instead of leaving a second copy behind.
- The list of sections under it is the board taken apart: Backdrop, Title, Timer, Description, Lots. Pick one and its fields open on the right.
- Backdrop carries Background, Radius, Padding, Border and Shadow. Title, Timer and Description each carry Font, Size, Weight, Color and Shadow. Lots adds Radius, Padding, Gap and Lot color fill, % to the same five.
- Nothing here has a save button — the note over the preview says "Changes are saved automatically." A source already added to OBS repaints itself, without touching its cache.
- - and + over the preview zoom it between 50% and 200%; the number between them shows the current zoom. This changes the preview only, not the overlay.
- Reset appearance in the header drops everything you set by hand and reloads the page with the look that comes from the app theme.
What it cannot do
- Lots, their totals, the auction name and the description are not edited here. The board only shows what the Auction page holds; until the first state arrives it reads "Waiting for auction state…".
- Compact drops the description and leaves the name, the timer and the lots.
- More than 20 rows cannot be put on screen, and fewer than 1 is not accepted either.
- The link carries the layout and the number of rows and nothing else — the language of the overlay follows the language of the app.
- The board holds no history of its own and shows no result while the wheel is still spinning.
