Full support for VK Video Live (VK Play Live)

Proposed by TypucT

I want to connect VK Video Live to strAImer and work with the platform directly from the app: see the chat, reply to viewers, and use commands, text-to-speech, and scenarios. When multistreaming, I want messages to go into a unified chat with emojis, badges, and clear platform labels.

I specifically need channel points support: creating and configuring rewards, seeing viewer requests, and linking actions to them. For example, a viewer selects a reward, and the app plays a sound, switches an OBS scene, or triggers a configured interactive.

I would also like to change the stream title and category, and see the stream status and viewer count. And I want to connect subscriptions and other available platform events to the general feed, alerts, and statistics.

By full support, I mean that VK Video Live should participate in the app's usual features, and the available functions should be clear upon connection. If the platform doesn't provide something via API, it's better to show that limitation upfront. And it's important that after a connection drop, there are no duplicate messages or repeated reward triggers.

Developer's reply

The platform has an official API with a good foundation for integration. Reading and sending messages, chat settings, changing the stream title and category, as well as managing channel point rewards and processing requests for them are confirmed. We can build useful chat, scenario, and interactive support on this.

I would add it in stages: first the connection, chat, and stream data, then rewards and channel management. Subscriptions, gifts, and other events need to be checked separately for their formats and available permissions. It's too early to promise polls, predictions, and full parity with Twitch features.

The most important part here is that after a restart or connection drop, events shouldn't be lost where they can be recovered, and a single reward shouldn't trigger an action twice. This will need to be tested on a real channel before release.
