What it is
strAImer is a Windows desktop application for streamers. It connects to your streaming platforms, reacts to what your viewers do, and drives overlays in OBS.
Windows only. There is no macOS or Linux build.
Supported platforms: Twitch, YouTube and Kick for chat and events; DonationAlerts, DonatePay, Streamlabs and StreamElements for donations.
What runs on your own PC
Almost everything runs on the streamer's own PC. Connectors, overlays, the control panel, scenarios, chat commands, timers, statistics and the auction all live in the application. They keep working when straimer.com is unreachable — a broadcast does not stop because our server is down.
What needs our server
A short list of things needs our server: the AI co-host and the web search it can do, image generation, cloud snapshots of settings, your public streamer page, and your account and subscription. If the server is unreachable, those pause and nothing else changes.
The application does not require an account at all. You sign in only to use the AI.
The internet is still needed
An internet connection is assumed. This is software for live streaming — without the internet there are no platforms and no viewers. "Runs on your own PC" means our server is not in the path of your broadcast, not that the app works offline.
Where your data lives
Settings, platform tokens, chat history and statistics are in a database file on your computer. Platform tokens are encrypted with a Windows account key, so they cannot be read by copying the file to another machine.
