Carousel: Control

What this page is

Carousel: Control is a dashboard tile that keeps the carousel in front of you while you stream: the pool as it stands, what is queued, and a button to spin right now. Add it from the dashboard while editing — Edit → Add module → pick it from the list. Setting the carousel up is done on the Carousel page; this tile is for running it.

How to set it up

  1. The tile fills itself as soon as the carousel module is running — there is nothing to switch on and no gear on the header, because it has no settings of its own.
  2. The bar across the top is the pool, with the figures written on it as collected and target in your base currency.
  3. Under the bar are up to three chips. queue is how many spins are waiting; the second says whether the carousel is on automatic or by button; a third appears only while an idle discount is running and shows how much is being taken off.
  4. Spin starts a spin at once, even with the bar half empty. While the ribbon is moving the button is greyed out and reads Spinning… — a second press cannot be lost, because there is nothing to press.
  5. Reset clears the pool and the queue of spins. It also puts a raised target back to the base amount and switches off a running discount.
  6. Below the buttons is the list of the last cards that came up, newest first, each with the time it happened and a coloured edge marking how rare it was. Before the first spin it reads "Nothing has come up yet".
  7. A refusal from the engine appears as a red strip along the bottom of the tile for a few seconds, with the reason on it.
