What this page is

Chat Bot → Knowledge Base is the one place where you tell the app about yourself: who you are, what the stream is, where your links are, what is inside your PC, and the answers to questions chat asks over and over.

Two different things read it, and that is the point of the page:

• The AI assistant answers from it instead of guessing. Nothing here is invented — if a graphics card is not on the list, the bot says it does not know rather than naming one.
• Chat commands and chat timers paste from it. A link written here once can be dropped into any command as {discord}, and changing it here changes it everywhere.

So the page is worth filling in even if you never switch the AI assistant on: the links and the PC list work on their own.

How to fill it in

1. Import from a channel link, if you have one

The Import from a channel link block at the top takes a link to your Twitch, YouTube or Kick channel — or any about-page — reads the text and turns it into a draft profile plus a list of links it found.

Paste the link, press Import, and a window opens with the draft. Edit it there, then choose:

• Save, replacing fields — the draft overwrites your profile and link table;
• Append without replacing — the draft is added to what you already have, without duplicates;
• Cancel — nothing is saved.

Import is one AI request, so it costs credits. The exact number depends on the model you picked for the assistant and is printed in the block itself, above the link field. It is a one-off: after the import you edit by hand, for free.

You do not need this step. It exists so the first fill-in is not a blank page.

2. Streamer Profile

Free text, up to 2000 characters, and it goes into every assistant reply. Who you are, what the stream is about, when you stream, the running jokes, the lore of the channel.

Write it the way you would tell a new viewer, not as a list of keywords. It is read by a language model, and full sentences work better than tags.

Streamer aliases underneath is a comma-separated list of the names chat calls you. It helps the bot understand that a question about "Sasha" and a question about your channel name are the same question.

3. Links

A table of three columns:

• Name — what the link is, in your own words ("Discord server", "Boosty").
• URL — the address itself. It is passed on exactly as written here, never rewritten.
• Insert as — the short name you use to paste this link elsewhere. Leave it empty and one is suggested from the title.

The assistant always sees the whole list, so a viewer can ask for a link in any wording and get it. The Insert as name is the other half: in a chat command or a chat timer you write {discord}, and the command sends the address. Both forms work — {discord} and {{discord}} — because the double form is what the page itself shows.

It gives out only what is in this table. An address that is not here, and did not come from a web search for that same answer, never reaches chat: the assistant says out loud that it has no such link instead. A link the bot "almost" knows is not a link it has — add the row.

Renaming an insert name does not update the commands that already use the old one. If a command starts sending {discrod} to chat instead of a link, the name in the command and the name here do not match — and it stays visible on purpose, so you notice.

4. Setup and PC

The same three columns, for hardware: Part, Model, Insert as. "What mouse do you use" is one of the most common chat questions, and this is what the bot answers from.

It never guesses a part that is not on the list. An empty table means "I do not know", which is the right answer — a made-up graphics card is worse than none.

Each row also gets an insert name, so a single part can be pasted into a command the same way a link can.

5. Facts (Q&A)

For everything long, rare or awkward to fit into the profile: the story behind the channel name, your rules, why you do not play a certain game.

Each row is a set of Keywords (comma-separated) and a Response / Information. Unlike the profile, a fact is only added to the reply when one of its keywords matches the message — so a hundred facts cost you nothing until they are asked about.

Add the forms people actually type as extra keywords: birthday, bday, born. One row can carry as many as you like, comma-separated.

6. It saves itself

This page has no Save button. Everything you type is stored on its own — a moment after you stop typing, and at once when you click away from a field. A line beside the title says Saved, and says so out loud when it could not.

An imported draft is the one exception: it is stored only when you confirm it in the draft window, with Save, replacing fields or Append without replacing.

If the Knowledge Base could not be read when the page opened, nothing is written at all — empty fields then mean "not read", not "you cleared it".

Why filling it in saves money

The assistant decides for itself whether a question needs the internet. Before it decides, it is told what you have already answered here — the topics of your facts, your links, your PC list.

A question on any of those is answered from the Knowledge Base, with no web search. A web search costs ten credits; an ordinary reply costs one. So the page pays for itself on the questions chat repeats most: schedule, links, gear, rules.

Limits

• Profile: 2000 characters.
• Aliases: up to 20.
• Links and PC parts together: up to 60 rows, each value up to 500 characters.
• Insert names: up to 32 characters, letters, digits and underscores.

Facts are not part of that count — they live with the assistant and are only pulled in when a keyword matches.

What this page does not do

• It does not set the bot's character. Tone, name, how often it answers and what model it uses are on Chat Bot → AI Agent.
• It does not give the bot new abilities. What the bot may *do* — start a poll, switch a scene — is Chat Bot → Voice control.
• It is not the bot's memory of the conversation. What was said in chat five minutes ago is handled separately, on the agent page.
• It does not reach the internet. Apart from the one-off import, everything here is typed by you and read locally.
