My idea is not on the board

It is not on the board yet

Every idea is read before it is published, so a fresh one is not on the board straight away. Yours is in Ideas → Mine with the state Waiting for review — that is where to check.

Publishing is not automatic and not instant. It is also not only a yes/no: the title is often reworded so people searching for the same problem can find the page.

It was rejected

The state is Not planned, and the reason is on the idea's own page. The page stays open — both so you can read the reason and so the next person asking for the same thing sees it has been considered.

Rejected does not mean forever. If circumstances change, an idea can be published later.

It now points to a different idea

Somebody had already asked for the same thing, and the two were merged. Votes and comments moved to the main idea — nothing was lost, and the count on it now includes yours. Opening your old link takes you there.

This is the reason the app shows similar ideas while you type a title: five pages about one thing split the votes five ways.

The vote button does nothing

Voting needs a strAImer account, and so does commenting. Reading does not — that is why the board opens without one and the button only fails when pressed.

Settings → strAImer account to sign in.

If you are signed in and the count still does not move, the board could not be reached. See the next section.

"That is enough ideas for today"

Five a day per account. It is a spam limit, not a judgement — the rest keep until tomorrow.

The board will not load

The board lives on our server, unlike everything else in the app. No internet, or straimer.com being down, makes it unreachable; your streams, overlays and modules carry on working.

The same list is at straimer.com/ideas — if it opens in a browser but not in the app, that is worth reporting.
