What this page is
Carousel Bar is the small progress card for OBS that shows how the pool is filling — "The pool bar for OBS: how much is collected and how much is left until the spin". It lives at Carousel → Pool bar overlay. The money it shows comes from the Carousel page; this page only decides the wording, the sound and the look.
The card is always three rows high: a title with a status slot, the bar, and the amounts. Nothing appears or disappears — only the contents of the slots change — so a source pinned next to other elements in OBS never jumps.
How to set it up
- Open Carousel → Pool bar overlay. Copy in the header copies the address, and the message confirms it: "The link is copied — paste it into a Browser Source in OBS". A size of 600 x 160 suits it.
- The preview sits in the middle. Fill drags it from 0 to 100% so you can judge a full bar without waiting, Show the discount puts a discount into the status slot — the button then reads Hide the discount — and Show a win plays the winner line. The − and + on the right (Zoom out / Zoom in) scale the preview.
- The sections are listed down the left: Backdrop, Bar, Title, Amounts, Discount, Winner line and Text and sound.
- Text and sound is where the words are. Title above the bar — "Leave it empty to hide the title". Until you write your own it reads Next spin, in the language of the application.
- Winner line in the same section is the sentence shown for a few seconds after a card comes up. Leave it empty for the built-in one, "{name} won "{card}"", or write your own with the {name} and {card} chips below the field. The hint says it plainly: "Your own text is not translated — it stays as you wrote it."
- Show the percentage — "In the slot on the right, when there is no discount and no queue". The slot shows one thing at a time, and it goes by importance: a running discount pushes out the queue, the queue pushes out the percentage.
- Sound when the discount starts picks a file, Play tries it and Volume sets how loud. Files come from the sounds folder of the app, on Settings → Sound.
- The other six sections are the look. Backdrop — Background, Border, Corner radius, Padding, Gap between rows, Shadow. Bar — Background, Fill, Height, Corner radius, Border, Shadow. Title, Amounts and Winner line each hold their own Font, Size, Color and Shadow, with Weight on the title and the winner line. Discount has Color, Size and Glow for the moment the status slot lights up.
- Ready-made looks and your own saved templates sit in the Styling card above the section list. Open "-- Choose a template --", take one from Built-in, Mine — this overlay or Mine — from other overlays, and press Apply. Template name with Save keeps the current look, Delete removes one of yours.
- Press Save in the page header.
What it cannot do
- The bar shows what the Carousel page collects. An empty bar in OBS means the pool is empty or the engine is switched off, not that the link is wrong.
- Amounts are in your base currency, the one on Settings → Localization. There is no currency setting here and no conversion for the viewer.
- The status slot holds one thing. The discount, the queue and the percentage cannot be shown side by side, and the order between them cannot be changed.
- The winner line needs a name. A spin started from the button rather than by a donation has nobody to name, so the amounts simply stay in place.
- Nothing on this page changes the target, the discount or the pool. Those are on the Carousel page; the bar only reports them.
- There is no history on the bar — it shows the pool as it stands now, not the spins that already happened.
- Where the card sits and how wide it is come from the Browser Source in OBS; this page has no position or width fields.
- One bar, one link. There is no second pool bar with its own wording, and the bar is a separate Browser Source from the carousel ribbon — adding one does not add the other.
